What You can Expect from the Class:
What You can Expect from the Class:
- Reading - There is quite a bit of reading in the class, from the text book to the review book. it is really important that you do your reading though.
- Flashcards, Cornell Notes, and other study methods - Along with reading, you may also have to take notes or make flash cards over the content. These notes and flashcards can be very helpful when studying.
- Power Points - Mr.Brock uses power points to teach the content to you, conveying the main points while skipping some information that isn't really necessary.
- Homework - yeah there's a lot of homework, get over it you baby. (PS that's what first period is for)
- College Content - You Are Taking this class to get college credit, so you have to expect college content. If you are having trouble understanding anything, just raise your hand and ask. That's what Mr.Bock is there for.
- Lots of Tests and Quizzes - Mr.Brock loves to quiz you over the content you've learned. it's very helpful in helping you retain the content. plus, quiz grades are a big part of your overall grade. BS the quizzes and not even the grade curve can save you. Infidel.
- A good environment to be yourself and express your views without being judged.
